Stay out of the water at three Toronto beaches including Sunnyside Beach

If you are planning to head to one of Toronto's beaches, residents and visitors are currently being advised to stay out of the water at three beaches as they have been flagged as having unsafe swimming conditions. A swim advisory has been posted at the following beaches:

  • Marie Curtis Park East Beach was tested on July 15 and was determined unsafe to swim in.
  • Sunnyside Beach was tested on July 15 and was determined unsafe to swim in.
  • Kew Balmy Beach was tested on July 15 and was determined unsafe to swim in.

As you plan your trip to the beach keep these tips in mind:

1. When lightning or a storm is approaching, leave the water immediately.
