Veteran U.S. daytime soap star John Reilly has died at the age of 84.

The longtime General Hospital star passed away on Saturday.

He joined the show in February, 1984 and spent 11 years playing both the show’s good guy and villain.

Reilly also played Kelly Taylor’s father on Beverly Hills, 90210.
